  • We are looking for sponsors for the Navaratri havan mahaprasad food. If you wish to make any donation please call any committee member.
  • Yajman seva is $51 to sit in the Havan puja.  If interested, please call Prakash Dave  @ (416) 277 6566. All the yajmans are requested to come on time to start the puja as scheduled.

  • You are about to witness the Ras Garba classic of the Decade!  Excellent singers with finger food at its best.  First come first serve for tickets.  Tickets will only be available through a committee member as soon as possible, so book your tickets now.

DIWALI  DINNER & DANCE CLASSIC 2008:

Time:             6 pm. to 1 pm.
Tickets:         Adult:        $22 each for members
                                      $24 each for Non-Members
                     Children:  $12 each for members
                                      $14 each for Non-members
                     Children 3 & under are free.( They will not have a chair available).
  • Celebrate Deepawali with people from your Samaj by bringing your entire family to the Brahmin Samaj Diwali Dinner & Dance Program.  The night will include a full dinner, an entertainment program put together by talented youths, music, dancing, prizes and door giveaways.  The Diwali Dinner has always been a sold out event for quite some time now. 
  • As in the previous year, for the sake of organization and efficiency, seats will be assigned for the dinner.  The committee asks for everyone's understanding and cooperation on this matter.

COMMUNITY NEWS:

  • BrahminSamaj valued committee member, Shree Jatinbhai Trivedi passed away on Saturday July 7, 2007 at the age of 34 in the tragic event.  He is survived by his wife Mamtaben Trivedi and young son.  BrahminSamaj committee members are deeply shocked and saddened at the news.  BrahminSamaj expresses the condolences to the family of Shree Jatinbhai Trivedi.  He will be greatly missed by the BrahminSamaj committee members.  Ohm Shanti Shanti Shanti.

  • Gautambhai Trivedi of Mombasa, Kenya (present Oshawa) passed away on Tuesday January 23, 2007 at the age of 68 at Lakeridge Health Centre, Oshawa . He is survived by his wife Madhuben Trivedi, two daughters, two son-in-laws and four grandchildren and he will be missed greatly. His family can be reached at (905) 728-2088. Brahmin Samaj expresses the condolences to the family of Shree Gautambhai Trivedi.  Gautambhai was active member of Brahmin Samaj.  Ohm Shanti Shanti Shanti.
